In spite of NOD32 uses system protection in real time, you can choose to do a scan of the entire local disk (Standard scan) or a customized one (Customize scan) where you can choose what disk and/or folders you want to check.

In case of wanting to temporarily deactivate the NOD32 protection, it can be made with the Temporarily disable Antivirus and anti Spyware protection option. This way all the protections will be disabled absolutely.

However, you can activate them again, and not necessarily all together, but you can choose which ones you want to activate. You can do this by the Toggle advanced mode option.

At the same time, we have the advanced set up panel that you can accede by the Enter Entire advanced setup tree ... option, but this is only recommended for expert users.

The NOD32 protection will be always present and this will be shown when we execute or open an infected file, since at that moment a warning that will include the resolution that the program has taken before the threat will appear in the screen.
